How did Breakmysong start? The idea behind Breakmysong started when one of the founders, an aspiring artist had a difficult time trying to get his music played in the clubs and on the radio stations. He realized that many artists have the same problem. So, he teamed up with a few talented guys to create a global site that gives artist access to DJ’s worldwide.
Together they visualized a site that would make the distribution of music in the clubs and radio scene more feasible for artists looking to create a buzz for themselves. They understood that the DJ’s where the true stars and should be giving more credit than they were getting, and many artists had great songs that should be played. So in essence, that’s who should be shaping music, not corporation.

What is the Global Crate? The Crate is where artists upload their songs. It’s where DJ’s from all over the world search to see what’s hot and original.
What happens when I pay for a package? Artists will also have the unique privilege of uploading their song to a specific DJ when they purchase a package. Pricing for packages varies and once artist purchase package they will be allowed to choose any DJ in the world from that package.
How can I become a member? To become a member you will need to create a new member account. After completion of profile you will have access to Breakmysong.com services as a basic member.
How much to upload to DJ Crate? Just $2.99 to upload to the Global Crate and thousands of DJ’s.
Can I upload to global crate without paying? Sorry, since this site prides itself on its affiliation with exclusive DJ listings. We do not want to waste the DJ’s time or yours. So to prevent excessive uploading of songs, Breakmysong only accepts songs that artists really feel can become a hit.
How many tracks can I upload to global crate? You can upload as many songs as you wish. Price per upload is $2.99
Is it guaranteed that a DJ will break my song once I pay? No. This is not a form of Payola. We do no promise your song will be broken. DJ’s only break songs they like. If one DJ decides not to break your song, try another one. There’s a DJ out there for every artist.
How do DJ’s get paid? DJ’s receive compensation for feedback and once they break a song.
What if DJ breaks an artist song? If a DJ decides to break an artist song a notification message will be sent to artist.
How do artists validate a DJ has broken their song? We have set up a validation method between DJ and artist which require DJ to provide video link of play.
What is the “Break My Song” Showcase? The Break My Song Showcase is an annual event where the DJ with the most broken songs receives his/her own party. Location TBD. All expenses paid for by Break My Song Inc.

What is BMS Radio? BMS Radio is our weekly radio program where the hottest new songs from across the globe are played. Each week a special guest DJ will showcase the newest up and coming hits.
What is BMS Broadcast Session? Now DJ’s and artist can stream live or send in a pre-recorded show of themselves performing. This feature is extremely important for DJ’s wanting to air live an artist song being broken for validation.
Are there any DJ packages for purchase? Breakmysong.com has a number of great packages artists and independent labels could purchase. Each package consists of a number of DJ’s to choose from and a couple packages gives artist additional services like, the BMS “listening room” feature.
How can I collect from my account?
What is the BMS Listening Room? The Listening Room is like the recording artist very own listening party. Artists have the ability to invite up to 10 visitors to stop by and check out new material and leave feedback. In some cases, visitors will have the chance to receive discounted products for stopping through and showing love.
